I provide a safe space to unload, to help you understand your thoughts and feelings, and how they become actions and habits. We also discover ways to overcome unwanted thoughts and behaviours to overcome difficult times.
You can expect to feel better about yourself and become confident in improving the quality of your life in every way. Just like the cells in a beehive, each side needs to be in balance. We’ll find how to reach balance for you.
During our first meeting, I’ll ask lots of questions – to get to know you and understand how best to help you. I’m curious about the unique person you are, and what you’d like to achieve.
In the following counselling sessions together, we may apply cognitive behavioural therapy or any of a range of evidence-based therapies that I have used successfully. None of them are painful, scary or weird! Professionals use psychotherapy to help people identify and change unwanted thought patterns, emotions and behaviours.
Change can take a little time and effort, but I’ve seen wonderful outcomes. People of all ages and stages can discover new ways to balance their lives and build wellbeing.
I work with youth, adults, families or NDIS participants, with clients from GP referrals on a current Medicare care plan, or Workcover referrals.
