Thank you St Vinnies Volunteers
A colourful Christmas came early for the volunteers at St Vincent de Paul Yeppoon .
Local lawyer, artist and marine adventurer Cam Schroder gave 10 of his painting to the hard-working Yeppoon charity workers to say thank you for all they do in the Livingstone Shire.
“The volunteers at St Vincent de Paul donate hours and hours of their time to supporting the community of Yeppoon and helping to run the Vinnies Charity shop in John Street.”
“It’s so important to give back to the people supporting us. Especially at this time of year when some people and families find it especially hard to get through,” he said.
“For about 10 years now I’ve been creating art with inspiring images and giving them to Vinnies as thank you gifts.”
“Through bushfires, floods and cyclones and all the extreme circumstances in between Vinnies are always there, I’m just so grateful,” Cam Schroder said.
